Thanks to all the volunteers who got stuck in on Saturday 9th December to help further clear the site in preparation for our Mini Bed Scheme, due to launch in spring 2024. Despite very dodgy and wet weather first thing, it remained dry for the rest of the day and we got lots done, including relocating a number of fruit trees to the bottom of the site to create a communal orchard, cutting back ivy and building a huge bonfire heap of rotten wood and dug up brambles.

A plotholder on Craven Vale Allotment since 2010. I'm also one of Site Reps, as well as a member of the CVWHAS committee. I feel very lucky having a plot on such an amazing site - with views across to the South Downs and the sea, it feels like a piece of the countryside within the city.
