Summer Events at Whitehawk Community Food Project

Just to highlight a number of events taking place at the Whitehawk Community Food Project over the next month, which are particularly aimed at providing a safe space for women and children on the site:

Wednesday 28th July – BBQ
Wednesday 11th August – Picnic and kids activities
Wednesday 25th August – BBQ

A plotholder on Craven Vale Allotment since 2010. I'm also one of Site Reps, as well as a member of the CVWHAS committee. I feel very lucky having a plot on such an amazing site - with views across to the South Downs and the sea, it feels like a piece of the countryside within the city.
